Call for Expression of Interest: Survey of Selected Coconut Export-Oriented Enterprises in the Philippines (Deadline: 19 July 2017)

The ILO STRENGTHEN (Trade and Employment) Project Team in the ILO Country Office for the Philippines (ILO CO-Manila) is pleased to announce and launch a call for the Expression of Interest (EoI) for national or international consultants, companies, institutions, and/or organizations interested in carrying out an enterprise survey of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and large enterprises that are based in the Philippines and engaged in the production, processing and supply of coconut goods and products for exports.

The said survey is a crucial element of the STRENGTHEN Project's programme support on trade in value chains and employment-rich activities (TRAVERA), particularly in producing a country study that would not only map out export value chains in the Philippine coconut industry but also develop a business model for the integration of Filipino coconut MSMEs into the global and regional value chains. The enterprise survey would serve as the basis for the conduct, drafting and publication of the country study.

The survey will target about 200-250 enterprises throughout the country (in certain strategic areas or regions) and aims to determine and find out as to what are the value chains and skills issues and concerns of the Philippine coconut export industry.

Full details on the scope and other technical specifications and requirements needed in carrying out the enterprise survey can be found in the Terms of Reference.

Deadline for submission is on 19 July 2017, 7:00 p.m., C.O.B. (Close of Business hours, Manila time).

Kindly email all submissions to balco@ilo.org and sabugo@ilo.org.  For confirmation of your submission, you may kindly look for:
