    The guide provides a detailed overview of the team-based maintenance of rural roads activities that was piloted by the ILO in two districts in Nepal; Dhanusha and Ramechhap. It promotes labour-based preventative maintenance of rural roads to improve the general condition of the rural road network and create local employment.

    The Report is published by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Nepal with technical assistance by the ILO and financial support from UNDP, Nepal. The Survey is the second after the first Survey 1998/99. It updates various indicators of labour force statistics derived from the first Survey.
