Launch of Job portal applications for android and iOS platforms and final project wrap up

The programme is jointly organized by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Department of Labour and Occupational Safety and ILO to launch the Employment Service Centres job portal and its applications.

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) funded the ILO's Project on Labour Market Information and Employment Services (LIfE) to improve the quality of employment services through strengthened client orientation and capacity building of employment service centres and their official; improving the collection and dissemination of labour market information and skill indicators and knowledge sharing under the ILO South-South cooperation framework.

The project developed the Employment Services Centres (ESCs) job portal  www.jobkhoj.gov.np and its applications for Android and iOS platforms. The ESC job portal is useful for jobseekers and employers to facilitate better matching of the demand side and supply side of labour market. It  is also helpful in identifying the most demanded job based on sector, proficiency level, skills and education level, and geographical location.
