Capacity development training on effective use of job portal apps and programme review

The training provides orientation on use of newly designed and developed job portal applications in Android and iOS platforms.

The Labour Market Information and Employment Services (LIfE) Project aims to improve the quality of employment services through strengthened client orientation and capacity building of employment service centres and their officials; improve the collection and dissemination of labour market information and skill indicators and knowledge sharing under the ILO South-South cooperation framework.  The Project is funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

The ILO in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security (MoLESS) and the Department of Labour (DoL) organize the training to strengthen the capacity building, effective job portal application and database system to better match the requirements of employers and job seekers. Based on the online portal, applications in Android and iOS platforms are being developed for wider usage.
The specific objectives are to:
•    share information on job portal apps and it's use for effective employment services
•    identify the issues and challenges in using job portal apps
•    reflect and review the programme implementation
•    come up with strategies for sustainability in post-project phase
