Interaction Programme cum workshop on community based interventions for employment promotion and services

This is a sharing of information on community based interventions, experiences, lessons learnt and best practices on Labour Market Information and employment services and collect innovative ideas and new concepts on improving the quality of employment services.

The LIfE Project is implementing community based interventions for employment promotion and services through Employment Service Centre (ESC) and Migration Resource Centre (MRC) in collaboration with implementing partners ABC Nepal and WOREC. For an effective and efficient implementation, the ABC Nepal and WOREC have recruited Coordinator/Employment Officer and Employment Facilitators at Rupandehi and Morang districts respectively.

ILO together with the Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE)/ Department of Labour (DoL) and with coordination from ESC Office, Butwal and ABC Nepal are organizing this programme.

The objectives of this interaction programme cum workshop are to:

• share information about community based interventions
• share experiences, lessons learnt and best practices
• collect innovative ideas and new concepts in improving the quality of employment services
• discuss on way forward for collaboration

The target group are officials of both implementing partners, ESCs, officials from the Government and others who are working at the community for employment promotion and services.
