Memorandum of Understanding of the Nepal Decent Work Country Programme 2013-2017 signed with the Government of Nepal, workers and employers organizations

The Memorandum of Understanding on the Nepal Decent Work Country Programme (DWCP) 2013-2017 was signed with the government, employers’ and workers’ organizations on 21 January 2014 at the Ministry of Labour and Employment of Nepal. The DWCP 2013-17 serves as the main vehicle for delivering ILO support in Nepal and to realize the overall goal for decent work for all. Further, it promotes decent work as a key component of development policies of the government and social partners as well as of other local actors and cooperating agencies. The DWCP 2013-17 reflects the priorities of the tripartite constituents in Nepal, and is aligned with the national development priorities of the government, strategic priorities of the ILO and the United Nations Development Assistance Framework.
