No to child labour in domestic work - World Day Against Child Labour, 12 June 2013

The Department of Labour (DoL), Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) together with the ILO, UNICEF, social partners and the civil society organizations are organizing a Media Conference on 11 June 2013 in Kathmandu highlighting the global slogan “No to child labour in domestic work”. Similarly, a Walkathon on 12 June 2013 is organized with the initiation of DoL, in Kathmandu, where around fifteen hundred people concerned with child labour issues are expected to participate. Besides, a wide range of information and awareness raising materials will be disseminated in collaboration with DoL, ILO, UNICEF and Joint Trade Union Coordination Centre (JTUCC) to support the Day.
