Request for Proposal: Rapid assessment of social security contributory capacity of micro and small enterprises (MSEs)

The ILO Country Office for Nepal invites request for proposal (RFP) from qualified national institutions to conduct a rapid assessment of social security contributory capacity of micro and small enterprises (MSEs).

Project title:  Enabling Sectoral Pathways towards Formality for Vulnerable Workers, and Enterprises in Nepal's Informal Economy (NPL/23/01/RBS)  and Empowered Women Prosperous Nepal (NPL/22/05/EUR)

Purpose: To conduct a rapid assessment of social security contributory capacity of micro and small enterprises (MSEs)

Work duration: January to May 2024

Deadline for submission of proposal: 18 December 2023.

The ILO Country Office for Nepal invites Request for Proposal (RFP) from qualified national institutions to conduct a rapid assessment of social security contributory capacity of micro and small enterprises (MSEs). Interested applications must be able to accomplish the tasks as described in the Terms of Reference (ToR). Please follow the link for the submission of proposal, RFP Template, Annex-III- ToR, Terms & Conditions Applicable to ILO Contracts and ILO Terms & Conditions for EU funded contracts.

National institutions are invited to submit their technical and financial proposals electronically to ktm_procurement@ilo.org by 17:30hrs on Monday, 18 December 2023. Subject heading should mention “RBSA/EWPN – MSE contributory capacity”.

Please include a copy of ownership certificate, company profile, VAT/PAN registration certificate and updated tax clearance certificate of your company.

Note that submissions require a technical proposal (containing organizational profile, team member details, previous experience, and such) and a financial proposal (with each possible expense heading detailed). Technical proposal should propose detailed list of activities with timeline to achieve the objectives of the consultancy. Technical and financial proposals should be sent in separate emails.

Interested institutions are requested to comply with all instructions, forms, contract provision and specifications contained in the RFP template to avoid rejection of the proposal.   

The ILO may reject a proposal that does not provide all information requested which is necessary for assessment of the proposal by the ILO.
