Call for Expression of Interest (EOI): Develop job portal and labour market database system for Labour Market Information and Employment Services (LIfE) Project

The Government of Nepal (GoN), Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE), Department of Labour (DoL) with technical assistance from International Labour Organization (ILO) is implementing KOICA funded “Labour Market Information and Employment Services (LIfE) Project”. The project aims to improve the quality of employment services through strengthened client orientation and capacity building of Employment Service Centres (ESCs) and their officials; improving the collection and dissemination of labour market information and skill indicators and knowledge sharing under the ILO South-South cooperation framework.

The LIfE Project is looking for qualified organization/consulting firm to develop a user friendly, effective and dynamic job portal with Labour Market Information (LMI) database management system of job seekers and employers to facilitate their registration with the relevant information. The language for the web portal should be both Nepali and English.

Submission of Application:
 

Interested firms may submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) addressed to the Director, ILO Country Office for Nepal, Dhobighat, Nayabato, Lalitpur, P.O. Box 8971, marked “Confidential”, containing a contact telephone number(s) Or email to kathmandu@ilo.org indicating in the subject line ‘EOI to develop job portal and labour market database system’ by Thursday, 26 January 2017, 17:00 hrs.

There will be a pre-bid meeting for short-listed firms only, on Tuesday, 31st January 2017, 15:00 hrs.

After the pre-bid meeting the short-listed firms will be requested to submit the detailed Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal. The Proposals shall be placed in two separate sealed envelopes clearly marked “Technical Proposal” and “Financial Proposal” and should reach the ILO Country Office for Nepal, Dhobighat, Nayabato, Lalitpur, P.O. Box 8971 at the latest by Tuesday, 7 February 2017, 17:00 hrs.

ILO reserves the right to accept or reject any/all proposals without disclosing any reason or whatsoever.
