Seminar on Promoting Occupational Safety and Health in a Green Economy

To respond to the World day for Safety and Health at Work, ILO Country office for Viet Nam collaborated with MOLISA organize a Meeting and other information activities on 26 April 2012. The Day this year focuses on the topic “Promoting Occupational Safety and Health in a Green Economy.

Jointly held by the Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Office in Vietnam , the event attracted the participation of 200 representatives from relevant agencies, businesses in Hanoi as well as media agencies. 

The seminar created an opportunity for relevant agencies to exchange information, knowledge and experience on managing work safety and hygiene, and raising awareness of new requirements in the safety guarantee and health protection for labourers in the development of a sustainable and green economy.
