Decent Work Country Programme (DWCP) Timor-Leste 2022-2025
This DWCP is the third one in Timor-Leste and covers the period from 2022-2025. It draws extensively on existing documents and plans, including the government’s Strategic Development Plan (2011-2030) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) 2021-2025.
In support of the UNSDCF, the ILO and its constituents agreed that with tripartism and social dialogue being encouraged at all stages of implementation, to continue with three key priorities of the previous DWCP, namely:
1. employment promotion and enterprise development;
2. enhanced protection of workers and social protection; and
3. improved labour market governance, including strengthened capacity of workers’ and employers’ organizations to effectively participate in and influence policy and decision-making processes.
