Migrant workers' rights: a handbook

Developed to contribute to a better understanding of migrant workers’ rights under international human rights instruments. It provides a basic introduction to the labour migration debate, and international human rights of migrant workers and their family members.

The Handbook discusses the issue of labour migration in two ways: (1) through an introduction to labour migration – dynamics, causes, and consequences; and (2) through an outline of the international instruments and mechanisms that can be used to better promote and protect migrant workers’ rights.
