ILO to publish annual report on labour and social trends in Indonesia

The International Labour Organization (ILO) is to launch its annual report “Labour and Social Trends in Indonesia 2014-2015: Strengthening competitiveness and productivity through decent work” in Jakarta on Thursday, the 9th of July, 2015.

JAKARTA (ILO News): The International Labour Organization (ILO) is to launch its annual report “Labour and Social Trends in Indonesia 2014-2015: Strengthening competitiveness and productivity through decent work” in Jakarta on Thursday, the 9th of July, 2015.

The seventh issue of the Labour and Social Trends in Indonesia focuses on Strengthening competitiveness and productivity through decent work. This report shares analysis of selected indicators that provide insight on employment quantity and quality in Indonesia.

In particular the report focuses on the analysis of trends and strategies that illustrate how Indonesia is making progress towards decent work and equitable growth.

The report will be officially launched at Legian 1 Room, Hotel Gran Melia, Jakarta, from 13:30pm onward, presenting national discussants from the Ministry of Manpower, the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas), the National Economic Committee, Bank of Indonesia, the Indonesian Employers’ Association (Apindo) and the national confederation of trade unions.

The report and all associated material and information are embargoed until the launch.

The Labour and Social Trends in Indonesia report is a yearly publication of the ILO Office in Indonesia.
