  1. Manual business management labour-based technology for rural road works

    This manual has been developed to complement the training materials developed by IADE for the National Certificate "Managing Small Construction Bids and Contracts". It is intended for use by directors, engineers and administrative staff of companies involved in the rural road construction works.

  2. Manual pavement labour-based technology for rural road works

    This Manual comprises two parts; Part 1 one covers Rigid Pavements and Part 2 covers Flexible Bituminous pavements and has been prepared for the training and accreditation of small scale domestic contractors and their staff in the construction of specific types of rigid and flexible pavements suitable for rural road construction in Timor Leste through the use of Labour-Based Technology.

  3. Trainer's guide pavement labour-based technology for rural road works

    These training guidelines for training of small scale contractors in the construction of rigid and flexible pavements using a predominately Labour Based approach have been developed to assist trainers in planning, organizing and implementing the training program.

    The Business Opportunities and Support Services (BOSS) Project supports the Institute for Business Support (IADE) of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs in boosting local economic development, enhancing Government service delivery and creating quality employment in rural areas by expanding market access for micro and small enterprises (MSEs), strengthening local contractors and improving the provision of business development services.
