ILO programme at work in both countries promotes and supports the ILO Decent Work Agenda. In so doing, ILO action targets four strategic objectives:
- fundamental principles and rights at work;
- employment promotion and income improvement;
- social protection; and
- social dialogue.
We aim to promote more and better jobs. In both countries, emphasis is placed on capacity building of ILO constituents, law and policy advise, advocacy, knowledge sharing, training and pilot implementation activities. International labour standards, gender mainstreaming and tripartite cooperation are mainstreamed in all areas of action.
