Continued training of Karachi's, tragic factory fire victims in textile's value chain

ILO-GE4DE is training family members of the victims of tragic factory fire which claimed lives of hundreds of workers in Karachi, Pakistan in Sep 2012. The project is unique, as it guarantees the jobs of all trainees from the very first day of this training, mainly due to complete cooperation from the employers of textiles value chain in this city. Some 50 trainees are currently enrolled in ‘Machine Operator’ and ‘Quality Control’ courses.
