Capacity building of journalists on application of Journalism Plus at district level

Series of trainings on gender responsive reporting for journalists were held in November, four 3-days training events are now planned for December, starting with Lahore and followed by Faisalabad, Mardan and Sialkot. The participants are bridged with ILO projects in the field for success stories. Trade union leaders, women from with in management at other tiers are invited to share the challenges they face and their achievments with the journalists to give them a representative picture of the status of women working in different parts of the economy and at different occupational tiers.
