National tripartite celebration of the 90th anniversary and launch of the campaign to promote the Social Justice Declaration

Celebrations of ILO's 90th anniversary in conjunction with the launch of the campaign to promote Social Justice was carried out and attended by several tripartite constituents.

At this event, statements were made by the ILO Country Director, Mr Donglin Li, the Acting UN Resident Coordinator, Dr Khalif Bile, the Head of Operations of the Delegation of the European Community, Mr Frank Hess, General Secretary of the Pakistan Workers' Federation, Br Khurshid Ahmed, the President of the Employers' Federation of Pakistan, Mr Ashraf Tabani, the Secretary for Labour & Manpower, Mr Malik Asif Hayat, with an address by the Chief Guest, the Honorable Federal Minister for Labour & Manpower Syed Khurshed Ahmed Shah. The celebrations were attended by more than 150 guests from the government, workers' and employers' organisations, the diplomatic corps, UN agencies, civil society and the media. After his Address the Hon. Minister joined social partners and other guests and 'signed up for promoting decent work for all', adding his signiature to the event's Decent Work banner.
