The paper is based on an in-depth analysis of a diverse sample of SIMPOC national survey data from all world regions. It reviews descriptive evidence of the impact of child labour in terms of the overall education life cycle. A strong emphasis is made on the effects of child labour on school attendance, grade repetition, drop-outs, literacy achievements and overall human capital accumulation.
