In Vietnam, little is known about the working and living conditions, health needs and aspirations of the people, especially children, who are engaged in hired domestic work. In 2000, Save the Children Sweden (SCS) has collaborated with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities of Vietnam National University-Hanoi to undertake a research on child domestic children in Hanoi. The study has unveiled the working life of the children behind the doors of their employers.
