The regional training workshop for Asia was organized in Bangkok from 22-26 November 2004 jointly by SIMPOC and UCW, with the collaboration of UN-SIAP [United Nations Statistical Institute for Asia and the Pacific based at Makuhari, Japan]. The agenda included training of participants in child labour concepts and definitions, child labour indicators, an overview of main data collection methods, data processing issues, econometric analysis of the data, and report writing.
