The study aims: 1) to analyze the causes and consequences of child labor in the Philippines; and 2) to provide recommendations that will be the basis for developing integrated and sustainable interventions and/or enhancing existing government policies and programs, both economic and social, to address child labor. The influence of macro level parameters on households¿ decisions to allow children to participate in the labor market is the focus of the study.
