This report is based on the child labour survey that was conducted by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), on behalf of the Ministry of Labour, Youth Development and Sports, in 2000-2001. The broad objective of the survey was to provide national data on the nature and extent of child labour in Tanzania.
