Objective: By the end of the project (1): governments, workers’ and employers’ organisations, NGOs and other partners will have the technical skills and organisational capacity to formulate and implement policies, programmes and respective initiatives to prevent worst forms of child labour, to protect, withdraw, rehabilitate and reintegrate children in the worst forms of child labour or children at risk and (2) information and knowledge on child labour will have been increased, experience and expertise will have been shared and utilised to generate and replicate good practices interventions at sub-regional level.

 

Prevention & Reintegration Programme to Combat Trafficking of Children for Labour & Sexual Exploitation in Balkans & Ukraine

Objective: This project aims to contribute to a reduction in the incidence of trafficking in children for labour and sexual exploitation in Albania, Romania, Moldova and Ukraine. At the end of the project: (1) national policies, legislation and judicial procedures will be geared to address the issue of trafficking in children, (2) in selected high risk areas, mechanisms to reduce the vulnerability of children to trafficking will be in place and the quality and range of services for long-term reintegration of child victims will have been improved, (3) a sub-regional information exchange network will be operational and will support and strengthen existing regional structures.
