    Most ILO programmes implemented in African countries, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, are now taking accelerated action on protecting the health, jobs and incomes of workers. These interventions include a focus on more comprehensive social protection, while at the same time ensuring continued education for children. The ILO is also expediting action to strengthen the capacity of government, including labour inspection and law enforcement, as well as organizations of workers and employers.

    Actividades de Cooperación Técnica para Combatir el Trabajo Infantil en la Comunidad de Países de Lengua Portuguesa (CPLP) en África, Brasil Y Timor Oriental

    Dentro del marco de este programa, en 2010, la Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) firmó un acuerdo con la OIT de Lisboa para financiar actividades de cooperación técnica para combatir el trabajo infantil en la CPLP. Su contribución se ha utilizado para cofinanciar otras actividades del IPEC en los países de la Comunidad. El objetivo era garantizar una mayor coherencia entre los planes nacionales y los mecanismos de diálogo social para combatir el trabajo infantil y compartir las buenas prácticas.

    Activités de Coopération Technique pour Lutter contre le Travail des Enfants dans la Communauté des Pays de Langue Portugaise (CPLP) en Afrique, au Brésil et au Timor-Leste

    Dans le cadre de ce programme, la Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) a convenu avec le bureau de l’OIT de Lisbonne, en 2010, de financer les activités de coopération technique destinées à lutter contre le travail des enfants dans la CPLP. Sa contribution a permis de cofinancer d’autres activités liées à l’IPEC dans les pays de la Communauté. L’objectif poursuivi consistait à garantir une plus grande cohérence entre les plans nationaux et les mécanismes de dialogue social dans la lutte contre le travail des enfants ainsi que de veiller au partage des bonnes pratiques.

    Technical cooperation activities to Combat Child Labour in Portuguese Speaking Countries in Africa, Brazil and Timor-Leste (CPLP): Public-Private Partnership

    In the framework of this programme, the Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) agreed with ILO Lisbon to fund technical cooperation activities to combat child labour in CPLP countries in 2010. Its contribution was used to cofinance other IPEC-related activities in those countries. The goal was to ensure greater coherence between national plans and social dialogue mechanisms to combat child labour and share good practices.
