  1. Education Needs Assessment in Target Cocoa Growing Communities (including coverage of migrant children)

    The final document duly edited will be provided later.A needs assessment was carried out to identify the main issues that keep children out of school in the target project districts and to design appropriate interventions. The study involved a qualitative research that used secondary data, including literature review of legislative, policy and programme documents related to education to ascertain the state of education in Ghana.

  1. Rapid assessment report on trafficking of children into worst forms of child labour, including child soldiers in Uganda

    Subtitle: astudy conducted in the districts of Busia, Pader, Kalangala Masaka and Kampala as part of IPEC TBP preparatory activities.The rapid assessment was undertaken to collect data on child trafficking in Uganda with ultimate goal of designing interventions and policies for addressing child trafficking. The rapid assessment was a cross-sectional study undertaken in 5 districts of Kalangala, Masaka, Kampala, Busia and Pader.

  1. Bangladesh - Baseline survey on child domestic labour in Bangladesh

    Child domestic labour is one of the most common forms of child labour. Available studies indicate that like in many other developing countries the incidence of CDL is quitesignificant in Bangladesh also. Traditionally, more girls are employed in domestic service than inany other forms of work. CDL, due to its nature and circumstances, is susceptible to becoming a worst form of child labour.

  1. Rapid assessment of child domestic labour in Malawi

    This is a report of the study that was carried out by the Centre for Social Research on behalf of the ILO. The overall objective of the study was to assess the nature and extent of child domestic labour in some selected districts in Malawi and how this impacts on education and educational opportunities for child domestic labourers.
