This report presents the results of research studies to assess health and safety hazards and risks faced by children in ten sectors of economy in two districts of Pakistan namely Sahiwal in Punjab and Sukkur in Sindh province.
As a response to the increase in the prevalence of child labour after the earthquake in Pakistan in 2005, IPEC has led a successful program aimed at educating children in the worst forms of child labour and providing skills training to their families.

It targets practitioners and xommunication experts in charge of designing a communication strategy on child domestic labour. It defines the aims and objectives of a communication campaign, identifies various target groups and the specific behavioural change objectives to be set for each of them as well as the suggested strategies and channels to promote such change.
This document contains 18 selected good practices and lessons learnt in the context of prevention of trafficking and rehabilitation of the child victims of trafficking. These are expected to help the social partners in designing more strategic and effective programmes in combating child trafficking in the future.
This research study attempts to looks at the demand side of trafficking and the environmental causes that enable and influence it. Analyses how attitudes and polices and specific desires and preferences of employers, consumers and third parties enable this type of crime.
