It examines in detail various aspects of child labour, including its demographic and educational implications, the economic and non-economic activities children engage in, hazardous forms of child labour, children working in the informal sector and migrant child workers, by age groups, sex and locality.

   The Mekong Challenge: Winding Roads – Young migrants from Lao PDR and their vulnerability to human trafficking

   An analysis of data from the Lao PDR Migration Survey of 2003, this report investigates the motives, family circumstances, and socio-economic and educational status of young migrants who had returned from working in Thailand. It correlates these variables with trafficking and labour exploitation in an effort to assess the vulnerability of young migrants to abuse.
