The newsletter will be used as an awareness raising tool on child labour and to present the ILO-IPEC recent activities and achievements in the country.
This report analyses the prevalence and nature of work carried out by children in Kyrgyzstan, the factors that lead children to work and the possible consequences of children¿semployment, as measured by their school and health outcomes. It is based on data collected through the 2007 Child Labour Survey (CLS).
This report aims to identify the main problems concerning child labour, which will hopefully increase public understanding of this problem and make it easier to regulate state and international policies to alleviate the problems associated with it.
