An awareness raising campaign in railway stations in China has proven to be successful in warning migrants about the risk of being trafficked.
Compendium of proven practices and lessons learned from ILO's Mekong Sub-regional project to Combat Trafficking in Women and Children (2000-2008). Covers achievements of the project in the areas of research, policy development and direct action. It reinforces the importance of knowing who the victims are and what makes them vulnerable and that prevention works at the source as well as at transit and destination points.
