Zambia has been implementing interventions against child labour since 2000. The ILO project “Support to Development and Implementation of Time-Bound Measures against the Worst Forms of Child Labour in Zambia” (2006 - 2010) has identified 22 good practices at 3 levels: macro-, meso- and micro- levels. The macro level encompasses interventions at the policy level, the meso level represents practices at implementing partners level and the micro level highlights practices at the community level.
The Child labour baseline survey was carried out in the three districts of Rakai, Wakiso and Mbale. This is the first stand alone study on child labour carried out in Uganda. The broad objective of the survey was to collect high quality data on children to facilitate the measurement of the levels and nature of child labour. The data collection was carried out during the months of July and August 2009.

The objective of this study is to identify, describe and analyze the characteristics of the working and living conditions of child domestic labourers in Addis Ababa, using a rapid assessment method. The rapid assessment methodology implemented includes an in-depth interview, observation of physical conditions, focus group discussions, case studies, role play, and daily activity logs.
The 2001 Ethiopia Stand-alone Child Labour Survey provides statistical data on children's activities focusing on the status of schooling, non-economic and economic activities.
