The “12 to 12 Partnership Initiative”
The World Day Against Child Labour (WDACL) is more than a one day celebration, it is the culmination of a year-long series of efforts and initiatives. It creates momentum for action-oriented social and political commitment and the Global Awareness Campaign continues to make great strides in both industrialized and developing countries. The “12 to 12 Partnership Initiative” is strengthening cooperation between UN agencies, social partners, NGOs, academic institutions and the artistic community during the build up towards each World Day Against Child Labour on June 12th.
