Activity 10: Regional training and knowledge-sharing workshops

An important aspect of the project is the dissemination of results to promote replication beyond the countries covered by the project, encouraging other countries to develop their own strategies for better monitoring decent work. The project therefore carries out workshops in all regions to disseminate methodologies, statistics and experiences from pilot countries and train academics, researchers, and statisticians from countries not covered in the project.

This project activity is also used to receive feedback on the proposed “global methodology for self-monitoring and self-assessment of decent work” and will contribute to reinforcing the regional decent work research networks.

The MAP countries have contributed and participated to various regional workshops to share experience on measuring decent work, present methodological tools and discuss methodological issues on data collection and on the preparation of the national studies (country profiles).
