    This project presents the first systematic analysis of active labour market policies in Latin America and the Caribbean and assesses their effectiveness in improving labour market and social conditions. The project includes: a compendium of labour market policies, a literature review and a meta-analysis, three impact evaluations, the synthesis report, and more.

    Labour market inventory are databases that list labour market policy interventions and classify them across multiple dimensions. These can range from their budget impact, their target group or their date of implementation, among several others.

  1. French Cooperation project on the Social Dimensions of the Governance of Globalization

    In cooperation with the French government, the Institute is involved in a 2 year research project dealing with the social dimensions of the governance of globalization. The overarching objective of the project is to analyse options to improve the coherence between economic and social objectives, which involves notably an assessment of the social effects of bilateral and regional trade agreements.
