    Reports of the Conference Committee
     on the Application of Standards

  • The International Labour Conference forms at each session a specialised committee, the Committee on the Application of Standards, which deliberates on the basis of the Report of the Committee of Experts. The Conference Committee is a tripartite body, comprised of government, employers' and workers' delegates. Upon completion of its work, the Committee submits a report to the full Conference.

  • The Report of the Committee on the Application of Standards is submitted to the Conference under the third item on its agenda: "Information and Reports on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations". The report is divided into two parts - Part One, the General Report, and Part Two, Observations and Information concerning Particular Countries. Part One reflects the general discussion in the Committee, and Part two covers the discussion of the CEACR reports on ratified Conventions, including their application in Non-Metropolitan Territories (articles 22 and 35 of the Constitution).
