ARTICLE 48

Periodicity of elections

In accordance with article 7 of the Constitution of the Organization the period of office of the members of the Governing Body shall be three years and meetings of the electoral colleges for the selection of 18 States for representation on the Governing Body and for the election of the Employer and Worker members of the Governing Body shall be held every third year in the course of the Conference. The period of office of the Governing Body shall commence at the close of the session of the Conference in the course of which elections were held.
