Basic documents on ILO Conventions and Recommendations

Constitution of the International Labour Organization and Standing Orders of the International Labour Conference (ILO, 2004).

International labour Conventions and Recommendations (ILO, 1996). Three bound volumes cover instruments from 1919-95; subsequent instruments are published as offprints.

Report of the Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations. The annual report of the Committee is composed of:

General Report (Report III (Part 1A));

Observations (Report III (Part 1A));

General Survey (Report III (Part 1B)).

Information document on ratifications and standards-related activities (Report III (Part 2)).

Report of the Committee on the Application of Standards. Available in the Provisional Record and Record of Proceedings of the annual International Labour Conference.

Report of the Committee on Freedom of Association. Published three times a year as a Governing Body document and in the ILO's Official Bulletin (Series B).

Official Bulletin of the International Labour Office (1919- ). Series A contains texts of adopted instruments, information on ratifications and denunciations of Conventions, summaries of the decisions of the Governing Body, resolutions and decisions of the International Labour Conference and regional meetings, interpretations of Conventions adopted by the Conference, and conclusions of tripartite and experts' meetings. Series B contains the reports of the Committee on Freedom of Association.

Application of International Labour Standards (ANITA CD-ROM). Contains the general report and comments of the Committee of Experts of its latest report, pending comments, and discussions of observations that were selected for examination by the Conference Committee on the Application of Standards at the International Labour Conference. Published annually.

Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining Electronic Library. Published annually.
