Discrimination against employers

854. In relation to allegations concerning discrimination against employers’ leaders on the grounds of agrarian reform, the Committee considered that the provisions concerning compensation for land expropriation should be reviewed to make sure that there is real and fair compensation for the losses thus sustained by owners, and that the Government should reopen the compensation fi les if so requested by persons who consider they have been despoiled in the agrarian reform process.
