Committee on the Application of Standards

General information

  1. The Committee on the Application of Standards will consider the 2023 Report of the Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations (Report III (A)), which includes in particular, the General Report, the observations on the application of ratified Conventions; and the addendum relating to the joint statement by the Committee of Experts and UN Human Rights Treaty Bodies Chairpersons, as well as the 2023 General Survey of reports under articles 19 and 22 of the Constitution (Report III (B)). The General Survey submitted to this session is entitled "Achieving gender equality at work".

    Subject to the approval by the Conference of the overall programme for the session, the Committee will meet from Monday 5 to Thursday 15 June 2023, in the temporary rooms A and E combined at the ILO.

    The first sitting of the Committee will take place on Monday 5 June at 15.30. It will be devoted in particular to the adoption of its provisional working schedule (Document D.0); its working methods (Document D.1) and the list of individual cases.

    Delegates wishing to take the floor are reminded that they must register on the list of speakers 24 hours before the sitting.
