On the agenda of the 101st Session of the International Labour Conference

The 101st session of the International Labour Conference of the ILO, is to be held in Geneva (Switzerland) from 30 May to 15 June 2012. The work of the conference will be conducted in the Palais des Nations and ILO Headquarters, Geneva.

    The Conference will consider the possible adoption of an international labour Recommendation under the single discussion procedure.

  1. The youth employment crisis

    The unprecedented proportion that the youth employment crisis has acquired, has prompted the ILO's decision to place the topic on the Conference agenda for a general discussion.

  1. Fundamental principles and rights at work

    The objective of the discussion is to understand better member States’ diverse realities and needs as well as ILO action to address these needs and to adopt a plan of action determining the priorities for the period 2012–16.
