This Project is supporting the establishment of new legal frameworks for governance of the labour market, especially laws to facilitate the formation of representative organizations of workers and employers, and to avoid and manage industrial disputes.
This Project will access, package and provide to the different stakeholders and decision makers ideas, experience, and advise based on other nation’s experience in dealing with the transitions implied by the current IR situation in Vietnam and support similar efforts undertaken directly by co-implementing national agencies.
In line with Mozambique’s emerging Decent Work Country Programme (DWCP) priority areas, the project will focus on improving social dialogue in the country.
This project will contribute to the strengthening of good governance and the rule of law in Haiti, which is crucial to the development of the private sector in the context of reconstruction.
Through this Project, the ILO will provide technical expertise to strengthen the capacity of the country to ratify and to work collaboratively with social partners in applying international labour standards and fulfilling reporting obligations.
The project will result in at least 500 migrant workers from Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tuvalu and Vanuatu receiving effective re integration services, based on identified needs, to support their economic reintegration.
