Technical Cooperation Projects

  1. Promoting Fundamental Rights and Strengthening Labour Market Governance in the Maldives

    This Project is supporting the establishment of new legal frameworks for governance of the labour market, especially laws to facilitate the formation of representative organizations of workers and employers, and to avoid and manage industrial disputes.

  2. Support to Industrial Relations and Labour Code reform in Vietnam

    This Project will access, package and provide to the different stakeholders and decision makers ideas, experience, and advise based on other nation’s experience in dealing with the transitions implied by the current IR situation in Vietnam and support similar efforts undertaken directly by co-implementing national agencies.

  3. Decent work Country Programme Support Project - Improving Social Dialogue - Mozambique

    In line with Mozambique’s emerging Decent Work Country Programme (DWCP) priority areas, the project will focus on improving social dialogue in the country.

  4. Supporting the reform of Haiti’s Labour Administration and the Revision of its National Labour Code.

    This project will contribute to the strengthening of good governance and the rule of law in Haiti, which is crucial to the development of the private sector in the context of reconstruction.

  5. Strengthening Labour Law Governance in Afghanistan

    Through this Project, the ILO will provide technical expertise to strengthen the capacity of the country to ratify and to work collaboratively with social partners in applying international labour standards and fulfilling reporting obligations.

  6. Global Jobs Pact Framework for Labour Governance and Migration – Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.

    The project will result in at least 500 migrant workers from Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tuvalu and Vanuatu receiving effective re­ integration services, based on identified needs, to support their economic reintegration.
