  4. Policy Discussion Paper: Working hours in Viet Nam

    In the course of the discussions on the revision of the Labour Code, new attention was drawn to the issue of statutory working hours. A proposal has been put forward to reduce the current statutory weekly working hours, from 48 hour week to 44 or 40 hour week. This short report provides several empirical findings on the current state of working hours that could be considered in the debate.
