Inspection functions and operation

The tripartite workshop to review the implementation of Decree 39/2013/ND-CP in Labour Inspection functions and operation. The workshop is to be held in Ha Noi on 24 March 2017.

Under the framework of the SafeYouth@Work Project, the ILO supports MOLISA’s efforts to implement the new OSH Law and its guiding regulations especially the OSH inspection related ones. To ensure the proper OSH inspection function, MOLISA, with the ILO's support, will revise the regulations on the functions and operation of labour inspection system (Decree 39/2013/ND-CP). In the process of amending this Decree, a tripartite consultation workshop will be help in Ha Noi on 24 March 2017 to collect viewpoints and suggestions of tripartite partners. This is also an opportunity to raise the awareness about the importance of OSH inspection to ensure compliance at the workplace. The workshop would discuss the legal corridor for the OSH inspectorates to set up their organisation at different levels. It is expected that the event will gather high-level management leader of MOLISA and the representatives of relevant tripartite agencies, those are MOLISA, MOH, MOJ, Government Inspectorate, VGCL, VCCI, VCA and Provincial DOLISA Inspectorates.
