Workshop on reviewing the implementation of decrees on labour-related violations sanctions

The event focuses on occupational safety and health issues and is an activity of the SafeYouth@Work project.

The one-day workshop aims to:
  • Provide participants with an overview of the application of the sanction decrees with occupational safety and health (OSH) – related violation and the scope of possible improvements;
  • Facilitate an exchange of experiences and good practices on tackling OSH violations at workplaces;
  • Review the application of Decree 95 (on penalties for administrative violations against regulations on labour, social insurance and overseas manpower supply) and Decree 88 (amending and supplementing several articles of Decree 95) with OSH related violations in practice;
  • Collect ideas and inputs from tripartite partners on how to improve the workplace compliance on OSH via proper sanction framework; and
  • To reach consensus in the follow-up activities by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and the social partners.
