Service Contract

The ILO Future Skills in Textiles and Clothing Industries project funded by the Governments of the Netherlands and Japan aims to advance decent work and productivity in the sector by providing support to the effective implementation of the Vietnamese Government’s Development Strategies on Vocational Education and Training and Textiles, Garment, and Footwear to 2030, with a vision to 2035.

Under the framework of the project, a skills-needs forecasting study will be carried out in consultation with the ILO tripartite constituents to assess current and future skills needs in the textiles and garment sector, taking into account the situation of both women and men. The findings of the skills-needs assessment will be served as the basis for further consultation to develop a skills strategy for the industries in Viet Nam.

To carry out the above-mentioned assignment, a national research entity will be hired to develop two reports including (i) an analysis of skills demand and supply in light of further industrial sectoral analysis for the textiles and garment sector in Viet Nam; (ii) a sectoral skills strategy report. Terms of Reference 

Interested research institutes/organizations/agencies are invited to send a proposal package including (i) a proposal briefly explaining your qualifications and relevant experiences as well as how you are going to deliver the assignment; (ii) an updated profile/CV of the team leader and other research team members and: (iii) a proposed budget to hoanghuan@ilo.org with copying to duyen@ilo.org before 5.00 P.M. on August 4th, 2023 (Hanoi time). Proposals submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. Only short-listed entities will be contacted for further discussion.

Service Contract

In partnership with MOLISA as the key Government of Viet Nam partner, and its Department of Child Affairs as implementing focal point, the International Labour Organisation (ILO) is implementing the Project “Technical Support for Enhancing National Capacity to Prevent and Reduce Child Labour in Viet Nam” (ENHANCE) with financial support from the United States Department of Labour (USDOL).

In order to get further evidence and insights understanding to develop actions and assistance to support the street children and to develop communication campaign to stop exploitation of street children, ILO ENHANCE looking for a consulting agency or a group of consultants to conduct an assessment on the situation of the street children in Hochiminh city. Please go to the below link for details of the terms of reference for this assignment:

Terms of Reference

The interested research institutions are invited to submit their proposal (not exceeding 20 pages excluding resumes) to ENHANCE project.
