Global Online Access to Legal Information

Launch of a new programme providing access to legal research and training in developing countries.

A new Research4Life programme – GOALI (Global Online Access to Legal Information) –  will be launched on 6 March 2018 by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and its founding publishing and academic partners.

The new programme gives free or low cost online access to academic legal journals, publications and databases  in more than 115 low- and middle-income countries.

The programme will go live during the event. This will be an opportunity to introduce founding partners and to recognize the importance of access to legal information.

The main speaker will be Deborah Greenfield, ILO's Deputy Director-General for Policy.

The event will take place in the ILO Library (R2 South) on the 6th of March 2018 at 2 pm followed by a reception.

It is open to the public upon registration and it will be held in English without interpretation. Live video streaming will be available from this website.

External visitors without a UN badge are requested to register here before 5 March 2018.
