    Social Justice: The African Youth Challenge

    With half the population of Africa aged 19 or under, and a quarter of the world's people expected to be living on the continent by 2050, social justice cannot be achieved globally if it is not first realized for the youth in Africa. This World Day of Social Justice, ILO Africa brings together representatives from the international development community to hear from the youth on what they say they need to realize their dreams, and discover their solutions to Africa's social injustices.

  2. Interactive dialogue and launch of Work Wise Youth: A guide to youth rights at work

    The webinar will feature an interactive and inter-generational dialogue on the importance of promoting youth rights at work for individuals, businesses and societies, and launch "Work Wise Youth: A guide to youth rights at work". The guide is intended to support ILO constituents and other stakeholders in their initiatives aimed at raising young people's awareness of their rights at work, with a focus on those in forced displacement contexts.

    Grand Finale – SPARK Youth Entrepreneurship Competition 2023

    SPARK is a nationwide competition designed for Sri Lanka's upcoming generation of entrepreneurs. It invites young innovators to present their ideas and solutions addressing the most urgent challenges of our era. Having received hundreds of applications, the competition used a comprehensive shortlisting procedure, involving virtual training, in-person boot camps, and mentoring sessions. The Grand Finale will hear the final five contestants who have successfully navigated this process.
