As a follow-up to the 2005 Tripartite Workshop on the Development of a Strategic Approach to Occupational Safety and Health in Caribbean Countries, and based on the OSH profiles developed in five countries, the SRO-POS will continue to raise awareness of the Promotional Framework for Occupational Safety and Health Convention, 2006 (No. 187) and Recommendation, 2006 (No.197). The office will call on specialized OSH expert to evaluate the situation and develop recommendations for action, including Training of Trainer programmes, information materials, and a regional campaign.
