The adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development creates a major opportunity for the UN as a whole and the ILO, in particular, to support Member States in their commitment to this ambitious, transformative roadmap. As the ILO's mandate and its Decent Work Agenda has been included in significant components of the 2030 Agenda, the Organization has both an opportunity and a responsibility to play a full and active role in the implementation of the SDGs.
