A Workshop was held in Kathmandu from August 29 - September 2 in in the context of the project "Assessing the economic contribution of labour migration in developing countries as countries of destination" (ECLM). The workshop was organised in collaboration with Social Science Baha, a research institution in Nepal, and discussed the implementation of a study of the manufacturing and small trade sectors.

Seminar: Project research & labour market effects in Africa

During this research seminar, held on March 9, 2016, the ECLM project team presented an overview of two elements of the research methodology as well as preliminary findings on the labour market position of immigrants in Ghana and the labour market impact of immigration in Rwanda.
